Joseph MANAODA is the new ELECAM Regional Delegate for the Far- North. He was installed on 9 February 2024 by the Director General of Elections, Erik Essousse during a ceremony which took place at the “Cercle Municipal” of the Maroua City Council, in the presence of religious and traditional authorities, Electoral Board Members, and Elections Cameroon’ staff.

During the said ceremony, the Director General of Elections praised the qualities of the outgoing Delegate while wishing him well, and urged the newly promoted Delegate to boost the rate of voter registration in order to update the electoral register and supervise the distribution of voters' cards.

Mr Joseph MANAODA was previously Head of the Mayo Kani Divisional Branch and replaces Ahmadou SADJO, who has retired.
