2023 electoral register: Elections Cameroon is currently cleaning up the electoral roll at the National Centre for Election Biometrics.

Following the closure of the electoral roll revision on 31 August, the data from the branches of Elections Cameroon are currently being cleaned up at the National Centre for Election Biometrics. The aim is to centralise and consolidate all the electoral data collected during the revision of electoral registers.

Divisional branches are responsible for taking into account the electoral data collected in the field, i.e. new registrations, deletions, modifications and transfer requests, for transmission to the regional delegations, which will in turn consolidate the data before forwarding it to the Directorate General of Elections.

Once the data has been received at the National Centre for Election Biometrics (NCEB), the electoral register will be processed using software designed for this purpose, culminating in the publication of provisional electoral registers by the Director General of Elections on 20 October at the latest. These provisional registers will then be made available at ELECAM's council branches for consultation by voters with a view to any requests they may have.
